…in production and business. Initially, the post was planned about low waste in everyday life, but it seems to us that we have signed up for people who will be funny to talk about a shopper instead of a package or a wax wrapper instead of a film 😅 But what is interesting to talk about is the application of these same principles, but behind the scenes of Uf.Bee. Canonical zero waste in production, which in our view is practically unattainable, therefore our practice is low waste in action. What will help us now? 💚Choose local: suppliers of raw materials, service providers we found in Ukraine, although there were very global and very carbon unfriendly geographical options. 💚Invest in quality: as much as we would like to save here and there, buying materials for production (knives, cutting boards, equipment, etc.) that will serve longer, even if they cost more — this is logical and ecological. 💚Reuse: we will give a second life to packaging materials and will not accept paper as a disposable resource – a second life in the form of boxes 💪📦 💚Minimize waste: paper tape instead of plastic always and without fillers in packages (by the way, this is also a time and money saving economy for what needs to be spent on using all this). And pictures from wax wrappers are recyclable in a starter for wealth — also 0️ waste. 💚Avoid unnecessary stationery: without liners with colored pencils, business cards, flyers and the rest of the beautiful, but absolutely unnecessary in packages. One really wants to create that same wow effect with packaging itself, but it is better to allow the wow effect to be in the quality of the wax wrapper, not the colored paper ❤️
